ACQNET-L is a managed or edited listserv, which aims to provide a medium for acquisitions librarians and others interested in acquisitions work to exchange information, ideas, and to find solutions to common problems.
It started with a group of 25 librarians in December, 1990 and, as of July 2009, has over 1700 subscribers. The current editor is Eleanor Cook (East Carolina University's Joyner Library), who is assisted by an editorial board.
